About Us
Leading the Next Generation of Carbon Intelligence
LEADING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CARBON INTELLIGENCE
At Hemp Carbon Standard (HCS), we are revolutionizing carbon markets with a science-driven, technology-enabled approach.
Our mission is to create scalable, high-integrity carbon removal solutions by leveraging AI-powered data analytics, satellite-based MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification), and blockchain transparency.
Trusted. Verified. Impactful
HCS is setting the standard for accurate, verifiable, and tradeable carbon credits derived from industrial hemp. By integrating advanced atmospheric measurement technologies, we ensure trust, accountability, and global alignment with climate commitments.
Methodology
Our methodology is ISO 14064-2 certified and enables corporations to offset emissions with confidence, supporting regenerative agriculture and long-term carbon sequestration.
Verifiable
With a growing demand for nature-based, durable carbon removal solutions, HCS is at the forefront—offering a transparent, scalable, and verifiable pathway for companies to achieve their sustainability goals.
We are dedicated to advancing industrial hemp as a scalable solution for carbon sequestration, supporting farmers, and driving climate impact worldwide.

Our Current Impact
Our Current Impact Explained
52,540 OF CO2 REPRESENTS
1 Way Trip From NYC to Paris
One tonne of CO₂ is roughly the amount emitted by a single passenger taking a one-way flight from New York to Paris. Through our carbon sequestration efforts, we have removed 52,540 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere—equivalent to preventing the emissions of 52,540 such flights.
Barrels of Oil Extracted
Each tonne of CO₂ is roughly equivalent to the emissions from extracting 15 barrels of oil. Through our carbon sequestration efforts, we have removed 52,540 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere—equivalent to preventing the emissions from extracting nearly 788,100 barrels of oil.
Kilometers Driven
A standard gas-powered car emits approximately one tonne of CO₂ for every 4,500 kilometers driven. Through our carbon sequestration efforts, we have removed 52,540 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere—equivalent to preventing the emissions from driving a gas-powered car over 236 million kilometers. That’s like driving around the Earth nearly 5,900 times!
Years of Heating a Home
Heating a Canadian home for four months produces approximately one tonne of CO₂ emissions. Through our carbon sequestration efforts, we have removed 52,540 tonnes of CO₂ from the atmosphere—equivalent to offsetting the emissions from heating over 52,500 homes for an entire winter, providing over 210,000 months of home heating, or an astounding 17,500 years of heating emissions-free
